Introduction

Welcome to the ItSec Insights end of year executive roundtable business meeting, where we bring together senior security experts from over 30 major companies. This meeting is an excellent opportunity to reflect on the cybersecurity challenges we have faced throughout the year and share the strategic measures adopted to counter various cyber adversaries.

The sectors represented onsite include: banking, retail, telecommunications, energy, healthcare, and transport, all of which face unique cybersecurity risks, yet they share a single common goal of fortifying their own defences. The roundtable discussions will focus on:

  • Application Security Frameworks – Sharing insights on how to secure applications through robust frameworks and best practices.

  • Bridging the Gap between Top Management and the Board of Directors – Exploring how to foster a deeper understanding of cybersecurity risks and investments at the executive level.

  • The Role of AI in Cybersecurity – Investigating how artificial intelligence is reshaping cybersecurity, both as a defensive tool and in addressing emerging threats.

  • The NIS2 Directive – Understanding the impact of this new European cybersecurity legislation on our organizations and how to ensure compliance.

We look forward to dynamic discussions, insightful exchanges, and fostering stronger collaboration to tackle the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.

Let’s dive into the agenda!

Sincerely,

Robert Kitunzi
